Tomorrow is April 25th. ANZAC Day. This year we won’t be able to gather to remember the men and women who gave their lives, and those whom continue to serve, allowing us to enjoy our freedoms. However, we can still remember and honour them on Saturday 25th April 2020.
This is roughly the time that the Ode, the Last Post, the Minute’s Silence and Reveille will be occurring at the national service. You can follow this on your radio or device.
The ANZAC commemorative service will be conducted at 5:30 am and telecast on ABC TV, radio, facebook and you tube streams. Following the service, at 6:00 am, all Australians are encouraged to “Light up the Dawn” by standing in our driveways, front gates, doorways or balconies with a candle (or a torch). This is roughly the time that the Ode, the Last Post, the Minute’s Silence and Reveille will be occurring at the national service. You can follow this on your radio or device.
